Since this picture relies heavily on very simple colors, the PNG-8 gets the job done without sacrificing UX.

If this wasn't a picture of a person, the PNG-8 would have been good enough. Skintones are complex and require more than just 8 colors, so a jpeg is necessary (and the very high is not much larger of a file).
